Dheeraj Pandey is the Founder, CEO & Chairman of Nutanix, an American cloud computing company that sells software, cloud services and software-defined storage. He also serves as the CEO of DevRev, a platform that allows developers to build, support, and grow their businesses. He is also a Board Member at Adobe.
He holds a degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin and has a bachelor's degree from IIT Kanpur.
Dheeraj Pandey began his career as a software developer for Trilogy Software in 1999 and eventually became a software development senior manager at Oracle, where he used to manage the storage engine group for Oracle Database/Exadata and co-authored numerous patents in the area of distributed databases. Later on, he became the VP of Engineering at Aster Data, where he helped build a product and its engineering team from scratch.
In 2009, Dheeraj co-founded the company Nutanix Inc., which designs and develops enterprise cloud platforms. The Company provides enterprise cloud platform solutions that converge traditional silos of server, virtualization, and storage into one integrated solution and unifies private and public cloud into a single software fabric Nutanix serves customers worldwide.

2014 - Raised $140 million in a Series E round of financing, taking its valuation to approximately $2 billion.
2015 - Suffered a net loss of $126 million.
2016 - Acquired PernixData and raised $230 million through an IPO.
2017 - Partnered with IBM to create a series of data centers for business apps.
2018 - Announced the acquisition of Minjar and the DaaS startup Frame.
2019 - Brian Stevens and Sohaib Abbasi joined the company's board of directors.
