I worked with payments & lending co Slice for a 6 month period as an advisor and interim CFO in a nearly full-time role. In this role, I helped them develop their FY21 business plan & plan cashflow periodically in great detail. This was just when the pandemic began; we identified a large number of levers to save costs and in many cases, I directly negotiated with vendors to cut costs. I helped streamline the finance team structure for better responsiveness/effectiveness and helped them fill a few key positions. There were other confidential work areas around fundraising & regulation that I can share one-on-one.
